Error 10061 Sam Broadcaster

broken image

I get ERROR 10061 in SAM Broadcaster. This is normally a result of one of the following: 1) Wrong details entered into the encoder settings 2) Server is offline and needs starting. Announcements Knowledgebase Downloads Network Status Open Ticket. I use SAM2 broadcaster by Spacial Audio to DJ online. This will become relevent later. Error 10061 - Stream Offline Error 10061 has a number of potential causes and to troubleshoot this error message, please follow these steps: Is the DNAS running? Put the server address into a web browser, do you see the DNAS page?

ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

Zoals hier in de Nederlandstalige uitleg van Sam v3 met Web PHP prima wordt uitgelegd heb ik MySQL Administrator 1.0.19 geopend. Poort 1221 en 3306 staan wagenw. Last visit was: less than a minute ago: It is currently May 7th, 2021, 2:57 pm. The usual cause of this would be an incorrect IP address or URL for your streaming server, SAM Broadcaster cannot locate the streaming host with the information provided. Confirm the IP address or URL provided by your streaming service. See article on Spaical.com Try using our web address, qualitydjstreaming.com instead of the IP address.

Error 10061 Sam Broadcaster
I've had 4.1 installed for over a year and for all this time have been connecting successfully from Tomcat and Java stand-alone classes. now just the other day I intalled XAMPP (for PHP development), which installs Apache and MySQL, but you can only have one MySQL server installed (or running at any rate), since they all have to connect thru port 3306 (right?)
all of a sudden since am trying to connect with PHP can't connect with Tocmat either. when try to connect from console get this error:
ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)
I have never seen this error. checked out an old post here on this subj, someone said make sure server is turned on. how do you turn it on.. there are many .exe's in
C:Program FilesMySQLMySQL Server 4.1bin..
which one to turn server on? (although I have never had to do this.) and btw, which one is console client? (I have a shortcut icon to console client in my desktop, don't remember which executable is console client..;)
the XAMPP installation includes MySQL, can I just delete this entire dir
C:xamppmysql
so there are no conflicts? and connect to same MySQL server from both Tomcat and PHP? (MySQL installation that comes w/XAMPP is NOT turned on. so I figure I should be able to connect no problem to my usual
C:Program FilesMySQLMySQL Server 4.1
from XAMPP. (and from Tomcat.)
thank you very much.

10060 - Not connecting to stream host

  • Is the IP address prefixed with http:
  • If so, please remove that.
  • Are outgoing connections allowed by the SAM computer?Look at your encoder configuration. Under 'Server Details', make sure you have included only the IP# or domain name of your SHOUTcast server. If you have entered http://, please remove it. (i.e. you should have something similar to cp1.digistream.info - without the http:// in the beginning)
Open your encoder for the server. Where you entered your server address/IP, is there 'http://'? If yes, remove it. This field should have only the server address/IP WITHOUT the http:// .
Is the Ip Address Prefixed with http:// -- in your Encoder Config, under 'Server Details' make sure you only have the IP Address of your server, in other words, if your using a dns you want to enter purple.neostreams.info (no http://) , if your using an ip address you want to enter 192.168.1.150 (no http://)

On occasion, when changing the details of an already established encoder, SAM Broadcaster may try to use the old server details in conbination with your new one. A good rule of thumb is to delete the encoder with the old information, and creating a new encoder for each SHOUTcast server you will be using

10061 - You can't connect/Stream Offline

  • This is a connect error code, not all that unusual for Audiorealm and Spacialnet
  • 10060 and 10061 are problems with the server being down, connection refused, bad password, bad IP, or bad gateway.
  • Please verify:
    1) Is the DNAS is running - put the server address into a web browser, do you see the DNAS page?
    2) Is the password you have is correct (verify by logging into the DNAS admin)
    3) The DNAS is not already sourced - is someone else connected to the server? Put the server address into a web browser, is someone else already streaming?
    4) The encoder has no http:// or other protocol prefix. Your server details for encoder should not include http://
    5) Outgoing connections from SAM to the server are allowed. Make sure SAM is able to access teh internet
If you're getting error 10061, log onto your web based control panel and verify that your server is on. You're always able to start/stop/manage your server using our Web-Based Control Panel.

Open your stream URL in a web browser and verify that your server is up and running. If the server status indicates that 'Server is currently down', that simply means no one is currently using the server to stream music. However, if your page indicates 'Page not found', then your server is indeed offline. Simply log into your web-based control panel and turn it on or contact your shoutcast provider and ask for assistance in restarting your server.
